When I was younger, I did not know what genre of music I liked, I only listened to music on the radio. I had no knowledge of the radio channels that played current music so, the only channel I was aware of was BOOM 97.3. It was not until years later when my friends introduced me to more current channels, that I started understanding the music I liked. What I understood was that music was more than just something I listened to. Music is a way of communication. Each artist's songs have their own meaning behind them. As I listen to music, I try to relate those songs to my own experiences. Although, the type of music I listen to often does not have any lyrics ironically. Some songs do have a lyrical aspect to them and in my opinion, I enjoy them more than songs that do not have any lyrics. The genre of music I enjoy listening to is electronic music, or better known as, EDM (Electronic Dance Music). I enjoy this music because it makes me very energetic and happy. This genre of music allows me to open up and just have a good time with some friends. Below I have posted some of my favourite songs. Hope you enjoy!
