Artwork
Growing up, I had no idea that I had an artistic bone in my body. Anything I tried to create was not appealing to me, or quite frankly, anyone. I would always try my best and do what I could to make a decent piece of artwork, but I never could. I always thought that art was not really my forte. Realistically, we simply cannot good at everything. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and art, was definitely my weakness. Although I was not the best at art, I did still enjoy the subject. It was not until I was sixteen and had taken a Visual Arts course that I realized that I was capable of creating my own art. All I needed was a little bit of guidance and instruction to be on my way to creating different mediums of artwork. I love the ability to create anything I can imagine and any idea that I envision, I showcase in my artwork. Both my physical and emotional desires are put to the test and on the canvas. All artwork in the gallery is an original creation by myself.

Medium: Mixed Media on Masonite Dimensions: 9"x12" This was my first piece I created which had brought me into the art world. I did not know much about art and needed guidance as to what colours and techniques to use. At the time, I had no idea what I would later be able to accomplish.

Medium: Graphite on Illustration Board Dimensions: 20"x15" This was my first Graphite drawing. The portrait is of my favourtite DJ, Martin Garrix. I chose to draw this because it shows some of my interests. My biggest struggle while creating this piece was drawing the hair.

Medium: Oil on Canvas Dimensions: 30"x40" This piece was developed as I went along. The placements of the lines and drips were placed accordingly in order to focus on both the movement and balance. The colour palette was bright in attempt to make certain lines and colours stand out.
